Pretty Easter Charcuterie Board and Easter On a Tray Blog Tour

Easter on a Tray Blog Tour

It's time for another blog tour. This time it's Easter on a Tray. Isn't that a cool idea? Katherine at Katherine's Corner is hosting this tour and I'm really excited to be a part of it. I KNOW you will get inspired for Easter everything!!

Look at all this Easter fun??!!

If you are coming over from Celebrate and Decorate Blog - WELCOME!! So glad you are here. Continue the tour at the bottom of this post to Debbie Dabble Blog.

I was thinking how beautiful charcuterie boards are and I wanted to do one so here is my playful version of a butterflies, bunnies, fruit and candy charcuterie board for Easter.

Hope you find inspiration, my friends.

Here is how I made up the tray. I gathered lots of fun stuff like bunnies, butterfly and bunny cookies (from bakery), candy, edible Easter straw, and some little knick knacks like ceramic bunnies and chicks. Oh, I also included one of my paper roses.

I bought this really cute little yellow bunny bowl at Hobby Lobby. It was a total splurge but it's so pretty.

See? I didn't know I needed it but there it was when I was putting this tray together.

It's the softest color yellow EVER!

I had these fake carrots I think from Target from a few years ago and I made the pink bird nest out of edible Easter grass.. some nice candy eggs look perfect. I've bought so much candy this year for the grands Easter baskets so I had plenty of the sweet stuff.

Below is a picture of the chocolate covered strawberries which I made myself by melting the chocolate melts and then sprinkling with sprinkles. They are so pretty! Right?

I bought the edible Easter grass for other projects but thought that would look good rolled into a nest with candy eggs. I've eaten a LOT of this edible grass, whole packages. It's tasty and fun.

These little roses are made from gummy strips candy. It was kinda like making the paper roses.

I took my white tray and put on this cute Easter napkin which I bought at Hobby Lobby, not knowing I'd use it on this Easter tray. I laid out some of the cookies from the bakery and some chocolate bunnies... and I made a pink nest out of the edible Easter straw. I ate that nest while I was fooling around with the tray. Then I couldn't find the pink so I made a green nest - you'll notice in the other pictures.
Oh, well.

I added things here and there.. There was so much sugar on the sugar cookies, it was piled up. The sugar got all over the place and I had to take everything off the tray at one point to shake out the napkin. You can see the sugar on the napkin...

Look at the size of these cookies! I decided not to put them on the tray. They took up too much room so I just put the smaller bunny cookies and butterfly cookies on the tray. One cookie can feed a family. ha hahahha

At first I was just going to have the cookies and candy on the tray but I don't think my daughter would like that too much for the kids so I added fruit. Now it's a healthy charcuterie tray. Lol

So here is the healthy FRUIT part of the tray with cut up fresh pineapple and grapes in an edible Easter grass nest with my little ceramic bunny I bought years ago at Joann's.

Remember how I said I ate the pink nest? Well, it was replaced by this green nest...

Oh, I am making these cute little cotton fabric bunnies also. SO MUCH FUN!! SEW EASY!!

I had some pretty ribbon leftover from the bunnies so I sort of laid it across the tray. The colors are just right for the tray, I think.

Then I filled in with some little paper folded up leaves that I used to make
these little chick Easter baskets.

I hope you enjoyed this post on making a charcuterie board. I enjoyed making this so much!
