Spring Wreath With Colorful Paper Roses

 Paper Roses Wreath for Spring

I've been on a paper roses making spree.

I have lots of paper and I keep buying more paper. It's kinda like fabric. You can have tons of fabric but somehow you don't have the perfect one for the new project you have in mind...

I have lots of fabric, too. I love fabric. My mom would take me to the fabric store and I hated it. I'd watch her go through all the bins (it was in a barn and the owner bought up fabric from local factories - when we were making our own goods here in America a long time ago..). Anyway, I never liked being with her at the fabric store but now it's one of my most favorite things to do. Go figure..

So I had this old wreath and I ripped stuff off it and decided to put my paper roses on it. Here is the result.

I have a drawer full of these roses so I just needed to go in and get some and glue them on this wreath form. Easy peasy..

I have lots more projects in the works with these paper roses, too.

My daughter had this on her wall for a while. She doesn't like everything I do but she loved this so I

knew I had a winner. Yay.

When I first started making them I made mostly white then I got into the other colors.

Here are wire letters ME that I decorated with the roses also.

I also decorated these Christmas ball unicorn ornaments with the paper roses also.

These were so easy to make!

This is my hallway. My nephew made the shelf and coat rack. The coat rack right now has winter coats and sweaters on it but in the summer I just like to have it look pretty.

Hope you enjoyed the ride.

Best wishes for a fun, crafty Spring,

  7. Linda, that is so adorable! I love it on both the door and the wall. I know what you mean about paper - I don't need anymore, but I always want to buy it. Now I want to make a bunch of paper roses.
