Happy Fourth of July - DIYs for You and Your Family

Happy Fourth of July!!

How will you be celebrating Independence Day?

Here are some fun DIYs for you to do either beforehand or as a fun craft at your barbecue.

There are star wands that would make a great addition to any 4th of July picnic, don't you think? Easy, too.

The wine cork flag by Creatively Beth looks like fun also. I have the wine corks, too.

I covered an ugly pot with a plastic placemat recently and I'm really pleased with the amount of work involved (almost nothing) and how it turned out (much better than the ugly black pot).

Follow the Yellow Brick Road shows exactly how she made this beautiful hanging basket and Steph Creates also made a patriotic door hanger from scratch. She shows how also.

Must Have Mom blog created these awesome patriotic Mason jars and she fills them with sparklers and assorted "fireworks". She calls this "snap, crackle and pop Mason jars". Cool name.

Need a patriotic snack or dessert? Walking on Sunshine blog makes some scrumptious looking Rice Krispie treats and SO PATRIOTIC!

Peach and blueberry cobbler by Not Entirely Average rounds out this week's inspiration.

There's plenty more also... keep reading for more 4th of July inspirational posts or add some of your own inspiration below at the Thursday Favorite Things Party!
