Hello, Everyone!
Happy Gardening.
Everything is blooming here in Connecticut!
I've got my tomato seedlings outside and getting hardened in readiness for planting in the ground. I started about 30 tomatoes but some of them don't look great right now. I started Amish heirloom plum tomato seeds and Kellogg's yellow tomatoes. The Kellogg's are looking well but the heirloom tomato plants not so much. If I end up with a dozen plants altogether I think that I'd be okay with that. I haven't started tomato plants in several years. Maybe I'm discovering why... lol.
Okay, anyway, I'm buying some nice looking hanging plants, geraniums, petunias, pansies, etc and they are gorgeous. It's so wonderful after a long winter to see things growing, isn't it?
Debbie's Buzz shares some Bee facts and fun and My Sustainable Life talks about dandelions and all their various uses. Very interesting.
Sew Can Do makes a bee playstation for kids but I want one, too. Okay, I'll let the grandkids play with it, too. ha ha
Thistle Key Lane has a summer front door basket and Everyday Edits blog shows how to make a summer wreath out of discarded packing paper. I get that paper in certain packages and I'm making one next time I get some, for sure. Brown paper packages look... I love it.
Hello Sewing blog gives a tutorial on how to make a cute compartmental fabric basket. I looked at it and decided to make one out of paper. I might share that in some upcoming posts also.
And what would any Spring or Summer post be without a delicious summer drink or dessert? So, Walking on Sunshine gives a recipe for making a fresh blueberry and strawberry parfait that is a showstopper!
