Sprinkles and Tassels Glass Ornament

What's more fun than sprinkles and tassels?? Add these to Christmas DIY anything and you have a winning project.

I have had more fun with ornaments this year!! This one is one of my favorites. It has all the hallmarks of a perfect little project... fast and fun. I hope you aren't going to get bored with all the ornaments I'm doing. I promise I won't blog about every one. :)

Aren't they cute? EASY. BRIGHT. FUN.

These are very easy to do. I bought some trim at Joann's... there is such an abundance of trim at Joann's, it's crazy awesome. I looked at all the ball fringe first. There are at least 20 different colors and sizes of ball fringe but I didn't quite find what I was looking for. Then I saw this awesome tassel fringe and fell in love.

I used Fabri-Tac glue. My favorite glue for everything. It's water proof to the max. I glue patches on clothes for my daughter who is in nursing school and she washes them in the washer and dries them in the dryer. They never budge. LOVE this glue.

I took the glue and spread a line around the middle of the ornament. Then I quickly placed the tassel trim on top and secured the 2 ends around the back of the ornament.

I poured some fun colorful sprinkles into the globe. I really did have the same color sprinkles as the tassel trim. What's the chance of that happening?

Now I also had this tiny ball fringe in my stash. I've got lots of stash. Finding the stuff is the big problem. An elderly neighbor of mine used to say it's easier to go out and buy something than try to find it. (Ding Ding Ding - wake up call - clean out and dump out)

I wrapped the tiny ball fringe around the top of the ornament right onto the little metal top. I added a ribbon - also from my stash - and voila! Done.
.

Hope you enjoy. You'll love these awesome Christmas animals also. And these angel wing ornaments from coffee filters are pretty special, easy and almost free to make.

Try to make some ornaments. It's so energizing and fun. I've been making ornaments with the grands also.... 3 and 4 year olds. Gosh, I love those kids. I'll try to get them to sit still longer enough to get pictures of them doing some of these ornaments. :)

Have a great week. Enjoy the season. Much love.
