Chocolate Turkey Pretzels

How to serve a fun dessert for some Thanksgiving fun.

These chocolate turkey pretzels are served with little battery tea lights. I'm into these little tea lights right now. They are fun and not dangerous so you can use them for kids.

Of course, they can be served without the tea lights. :)

Directions:

1 bag of chunky pretzels (not the thin ones)
chocolate melts
sprinkles
edible eyes
small oreo cookies
corn candy

It's exactly how it looks. Melt the chocolate, dip the pretzels, add sprinkles while the chocolate is still soft, add a small oreo (see picture for placement) and use the melted chocolate to stick on the corn candy and edible eyes. Done.

This was a really fun project to do and then afterward you have these really cute little pretzels that are personable... fun, edible turkeys!

Hope you have fun making some of these pretzel turkeys for Thanksgiving!! Best wishes,

  3. I love this treat! My husband loves chocolate covered pretzels, so even though I have no little kids at home, I'll bee making these for all the grown up kids visiting over the holiday.
