Girl’s Desk Makeover with Shelving

Girl’s Desk Makeover with aqua dots!

When my daughter sent me this via her smart phone I was thrilled! Isn’t this darling for a girl’s desk? My granddaughter loves the new aqua colors and so she has those colors in her room. My daughter bought her a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom. It’s very cozy. I’ve remade a bench for her new room which I’ll show later this week and the whole redo. But for now I wanted to show what can be done with a boring old white desk.
When my daughter said she was painting an old desk white, I was like 'ho hum’ but when she sent me the picture, I was VERY interested. I hope you are, too. Here are the pictures.

She used this foam round paint brush to make the circles... the brush got a little distorted after laying in the sink but it was round when they were painting.

The chair isn’t done yet but I couldn’t wait to share this...

She put up this little shelf that she bought at Target. I think it’s perfect, don’t you? My granddaughter is a cheerleader. Can you tell? There’s her picture in her cheerleader outfit.

it’s a perfect little corner to do homework in.

Here is the shelf my daughter bought. She bought several of these.

It’s a very versatile little shelf. She also used one of the shelves on a kitchen side table where she has some of the plants from the greenhouse since the greenhouse was too cold. They are doing well in her big kitchen window which is perfect. Here is the little shelf with plants.

Hope you enjoyed viewing these projects. I enjoyed sharing them with you!
