Autumn Grapevine Ball

We have lights, cable and heat. We are so thankful!! Man, are we spoiled or what? We are SPOILED!!
Now let’s get back to fun crafty things. Did I have fun making this? Yes, I did.
I was in Michael’s Crafts and deciding what I wanted to make when I happened upon this grapevine ball. Isn’t it wonderful? It’s pretty obvious what to do to make this.
Text Autumn Grapevine
1. Start with a wonderful grapevine ball.
2. Buy some artificial Autumn leaves and glue them here and there on the ball.
3. Put a small string of lights on the ball also.
4. Place the whole thing on some kind of base. I put mine in a bowl on a fancy rectangular plate I bought at Homegoods. Done.

I manipulated this in Picasa (free, easy downloadable program) with Vignette.
Grapevine Ball
This has been in the middle of my dining room table and it’s so nice. It’s light is always on so it acts like a nightlight. I like to have small lights around so that it’s not pitch black in the house at night.
Can you see the tulips painted on the windows in this picture? I used acrylic paint and the onestroke Donna Dewberry method to paint the tulips on the window. Very easy!
