Introducing my daughter, Laura

To Blog or Not to Blog…
My mom, Linda, had asked me to be a guest blogger for her blog last week.  Immediately, I thought where am I going to find the time & what on earth could I possibly blog about that would be interesting enough?  I, like most families today, juggle a full time job, a young daughter with a busier social life than myself, a new house that has seen better days in the past, & trying to adjust with my fiancé moving in to our home with all of his, umm, let’s just say “stuff.”  What could I possibly contribute?
She said quite simply “a lot.”  She reminded me of my daughter, Faith’s birthday parties that I put an enormous amount of time in planning, cost effective home improvements, and decorating the house that satisfies both my simple, light, uncluttered style as well as my fiancé, Justin’s bachelor pad style.  These are all things that I can share and maybe like a muse inspire new ideas that I hope you will come back to also share with us.  So for now, Succulent Sisters has added another family member to the blog.
