Egg Happiness

Michele (niece) was looking on line at egg crafts and came across Chez Larsson’s site with some really cute egg crafts SO we decided to make some of these really really cute things for Easter. Here they are:

Michele’s husband cut the eggs with a Dremel. He did a great job. I’m wondering how he was able to cut them and not break them all up. I broke up my fair share of them just gluing and holding them. Eggs are darn delicate!

We used toothpicks and buttons for the wheels. No problem there.

Working with eggshells isn’t that easy. When we finished I said, “No more egg crafts!” The hot glue stuck immediately to the shell and then when I tried to remove or adjust the fabric or eyelet, the egg  just came apart in pieces. Not good but we did manage to get a few undamaged little egg pieces completed so I’m happy!

These little chickies are taking a bath. The originals in Chez Larrson are much much cuter. There is a little shower cap on the little chicks in the bathtub.  Too cute!

Best wishes. Linda
