Pinecone cheeseball

How to Make a Pine Cone Cheeseball

When I first started my blog I made this pine cone cheese ball. I loved making it and it was a snap to make. I updated the pictures and spruced this up a little. This is easy to make and can be served with potato chips, crackers, or anything you choose.

I made this cheese ball by grating about a half cup of longhorn cheddar cheese and creaming it into an 8 oz. softened package of cream cheese. Then I molded it into a pinecone shape and stuck sliced almond pieces in it to look like a pine cone.

Of course, you can always use your OWN cheeseball recipe.

I love stuff like this.. It's basically crafts but with food. Over the I  years I've done lots of what I call fun foods. I've done the Snowman Cheeseball, the Thanksgiving Turkey Cheeseball, the turkey pretzels, and a Christmas reindeer fudge. And lots more...

Hope you are having fun this Thanksgiving Season!

  1. You have some great ideas on your blog. This cheese ball is beautiful! I make my own "boursin" by using a variey of room temp cheeses, some butter, cream cheese and herbs. It keeps great in the fridge and is yummy on crackers.

  2. What a cute idea, and I bet the almonds complement the cheese wonderfully! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
