How to Make a Parmesan Bowl

How to Make a Parmesan Bowl

Aren't these Parmesan bowls cute? I love them. They are super easy to make and even more fun to serve a simple little salad in.

Recipe:

1 chunk of Parmesan cheese, shredded (I'm not sure that shredded Parmesan cheese that you buy in a package would work as well so I shredded it myself).

After I shredded the cheese, I made an 8 inch circle of the cheese on a cookie sheet, leaving small 1/2 inch spaces here and there so that it would look "lacy" after it was cooked. I put the oven at 275 degrees and put the cookie sheet in the middle of the oven on a rack. Watch carefully. With 7 to 10 minutes it will be ready to come out. The edges will be a little browner than the center. Carefully lift off the cheese with a spatula and place over a smallish bowl. Carefully press down and let this cool until the cheese becomes firm. Voila!! You now have a small bowl!! Is this cool, or what?

I made a small salad with cherry tomatoes, a little salad, some Feta cheese, and almonds. Very fun to serve and very pretty.

This was very fun. I hope you enjoy it and try to make it. It takes only a few minutes.
