On the eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
SPARKLING MANTELS
I had so much fun redoing my mantel. I have had the same thing every year on my mantel – Christmas houses! Well, I finally got BORED of those and now I have THIS!! Nice, huh? So clean looking.
My Country Mantel
Beach Cottage Mantel
My Mom’s Pure White Glittering Mantel
I did a whole post on Mom’s Mantel HERE if anyone wants to see more pictures.
My friend, Elaine’s, Mantel…
She has a lovely, traditional Rose Mantel with a gorgeous velvet mantel scarf.
My daughter, Kristy’s Mantel.
Laura, Greenhouse girl, came up with an idea. How about making a Christmas tree and putting it up onto the mantel. So she and Duck Herder boy (youngest son) put together twigs in the form of a tree and she wired on branches of evergreens. Then she said it would be great to have packages on either side of the tree to make it look like Santa just came. I think it came out great! What do you think?
Here is her Christmas Tree and the tree on the mantel that Laura made.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the mantels in our family! We enjoyed making these mantels so much! I can’t wait to redo the mantels after New Years!!! Wow. I’m on a mantel kick right now.
Fun. Fun. Fun.
