Natural Elements for Fabulous Fall Decorating and Some Yummy Comfort Food Recipes

 Welcome and Happy Fall!

Yesterday was the Fall Equinox which means that, according to my source, the day and night are roughly equal in length.  "  When the Sun crosses the equator from north to south, this marks the autumnal equinox; when it crosses from south to north, this marks the vernal equinox." Little bit of trivia that we mostly know.

Anyway, we have some fun and frugal stuff to do this weekend using all natural elements from nature.. like the grapevine wreath by My Hubbard Home. She collected things from nature to make her copycat Terrain Fall wreath. Love it!!

Simple Joys made a twig wreath, God bless her! That looks like a lot of twig gathering but it's absolutely free and using everything from nature! It doesn't get more natural than that.

The sweater pumpkin by Debbie's Buzz was included because she used an old sweater and feathers and a real stick for her "pumpkin". Beautiful!

Just That Perfect Piece Blog made awesome pumpkins from paper bags, again free! I'm making these. I love the natural and funky look of them so much.

Butter With a Side of Bread made THE most awesome looking pumpkin roll. I might even try making it even though we have a pumpkin roll recipe in our family that is pretty tasty.

Theresa from Shoestring Elegance is a cook extraordinaire!! She makes THE most awesome food... she also has potato rolls in the party. I featured her strawberry rhubarb galette (I thought this word didn't look right and wondered if it should have two ells so I looked it up on Google and it seems it is spelled both ways).Anyway, Theresa truly can make anything in the kitchen and knows all the tastes that go together!
