Welcome, Beautiful Friends...

Are you ready for some inspiration for Valentine's Day and Spring? How about home decor and home DIY? I'm interested in all those things also.

I've been binge watching the DIY channel. The new show I'm watching all day is Big Beach Builds. It's great because it's only 30 minutes and you see the complete rejuvenation of a home (usually a fixer upper). I love the last few minutes of the program because that's when you see the completed work. I hold the remote in my hand and pause during the last few minutes so I can study each thing that was done to the home. I pause all the "before" shots and then I pause each "after" shot also. I get to see how a wall was removed (I LOVE when they remove walls).

Then I walk around my house and think about what walls could be taken down. I have a cape cod house so each room is rather separate. I could actually take down a wall between the living room and the kitchen. The downside is I'd lose a kitchen wall that now has the refrigerator on it. Hmmm... I'm just dreaming about these major renos. In the meantime I've been painting rooms all white so they look bright and clean AND getting rid of everything that looks like clutter. At one point my sister said I could get rid of half the furniture in my living room. That's how packed it was. I basically did that and now the newly painted living room looks airier and more spacious. Yay. I did my own little home makeover = I still want to knock down a wall. Lol.

So along this theme I'm featuring some DIY's this week and how you can update and improve your living space. Enjoy and be INSPIRED!
