Candy Apple Pie and Some Delectable Desserts for Fall

Hey, everyone. It's hard to believe that summer is over! Sniff. I try to stretch out summer every year and I'm trying again this year. My son and his family visited from Pennsylvania and we all went to the shoreline for some fishing. Living in Connecticut has some advantages.. we have the Long Island Sound and the beaches all up and down the coast of Connecticut. On Saturday, the day was warm and the sand was perfect. I even collected some very thin and see-through orange-yellow shells. It was great to feel the sun overhead and the sand underfoot. Very wonderful.
