Happy New Year Party

Happy New Year, Everyone! Love and blessings in the New Year to all.

My incredibly beautiful mother is now with the Lord. She lived to 108 years. She would have been 109 in June. She had an incredibly strong spirit and kept her mind to the end. She was such an upbeat person to be around, organized, focused, and ready to go at a moment's notice. We were at the beach this summer a few times, stayed in the car but she enjoyed the ride and I love the seagulls.

We also had Thanksgiving was at my mother's house. She was always at the hub of everything and stayed in her house right to the end although she had 24 hour aides the last 2 years. Her house was all pink and roses and pretty flower arrangements but she was not stuffy, but personal with everyone she met. She had a prayer box and she put all our intentions and problems in it. She told my nephew she was going to put him in the prayer box to find him a girl friend. Then she went to Florida (this was 12 years ago) and he met a wonderful girl that he is now married to and has a beautiful son with. She said there is nothing magical about the prayer box. The Lord knows when I put a name in that prayer box that he is to take care of them!

Enjoy your family, mother, father, children, grandchildren and anyone else close to you! Savor the moments and may your 2018 be wonderful!
