Sweet Christmas Tree Treat Boxes

Aren't these Christmas treat boxes cute? I love the way they came out and I hope you do, too.

These are really easy to make. Here's how to make them.

Nice, quick, pretty.

You need a piece of card stock paper 4" x 11".

Fold in half. Make a little crease to show the center of one end. You'll see why in a minute.

Fold the paper as in picture below.

Fold the other side the same way.

Open up the paper. This is what you will  see.

Fold all the sides up as in the picture below.

Fold over in the middle and you will begin to see the "tree".

We need to make a hole at the top with a hold punch.

I threaded through the hole a string for hanging it on a tree and a piece of white lace to make a bow.

I hot glued a piece of narrow white lace zigzagged across the front of the paper tree box like a small garland.

Before tying up the bow and the string hanger put in some individually wrapped candy similar to these cute mints.

Add a little flower on the top of the "tree" and a trunk from burlap or a burlap ribbon like I did. :)

Here are some other fun Christmas projects. Are you making anything for Christmas?
