Make a Small Birdbath Out of Clay Pots to Hold a Pretty Potted Plant

Want to make something pretty for your potted plant? Or something special to give as a gift? Here it is. Make a small birdbath out of clay pots! It really is very pretty and makes an awesome gift with even a small plant.

Pretty birdbath made from clay pots.

Here are the supplies for making this little plant holder...

Clay pots used to make birdbath plant holder.

Glue the bottom of the pot to the underside of the pot saucer as in picture. I use E-6000 which is a great all around glue. It needs to be used OUTSIDE because of the fumes (there are all kinds of warnings on the label).

I cut a piece of pretty scrapbook paper to wrap around the pot since it was totally not attractive. Add some pretty natural stones!

Happy Spring, everyone!!!

  1. What a fabulous idea! I just might have to make some of these for my DIL's for Mother's Day. Love that you wrapped some scrapbooking paper around the clay pot. Hugs, Brenda

  3. I love this! It looks even easy enough for me to do. I was just thinking the other day that I need to get some more African Violets. Mine had not survived our move a few years ago and I had just never gotten anymore. Now I will and they will look beautiful! Thanks!
