Merry Christmas to all!

Wishing everyone a Christmas filled with beauty and brightness...

 and cookies and chocolate. :)

I bought the old Scrabble game at an estate sale. My daughter has been hooked on them and now we travel around Connecticut on the weekends looking for great bargains and fun, old stuff. It's lots of fun. Do you go to any estate sales?

Here's a current picture of our "imprinted" duck this Christmas. Sonny thinks he's human. Ducks are one of the animals that can be "imprinted" which means that since they saw a human first, they think THEY are human. He doesn't like ducks at all. He's scared of them. He likes people and likes to hang around with people so... he wears a DIAPER. Yep, as weird as that sounds, he wears a diaper and walks around the house a little during the day. At night he lives in a cage. He's pretty happy. He terrorizes the dogs and likes to nip their noses. Both dogs know they can't bother him so Sonny has free reign around here. I stood him on a small table near the Christmas tree to take this picture.
