Easter Pretzel Candies

Easter Pretzel Candies

Don't you love the wonderful taste of sweet and salty?

This candy is crunchy, sweet and salty. The only thing that could make this better is caramel. :)

I put candy melts on the pretzels on a cookie sheet and put them in a warm oven of about 250 degrees for 3 minutes.

The candy softens up right away and then I put the little M&M's (Easter M&Ms have little chicks and bunnies on them - cute factor) and multi-colored sprinkles (or other little embellishments) on them - very gently. The M&M's push right down into the soft candy and are held firmly once they cool. Put the sprinkles on quickly, too.

These were so fun to make. Easy. Fast.

Perfect to put in the Easter baskets.

  4. Oh this makes me so happy! I can't wait to try making these. I like to hand out treats at my daughter's ballet class holiday parties and these will be awesome in a cute baggie. Thank you for sharing! BTW, I found this on the SITS Girls link-up.

  5. I see you didn't use the special 'brown' sprinkles lol :) these look delish and for people that can't have chocolate, easy to sub out the m&ms. I had no idea you could put the candy melts in the oven like that! Too neat! :)
