All Natural Non-Greasy Moisturizing Cream

Homemade face moisturizer that is not greasy.

This moisturizer is non-greasy. It is half aloe vera gel and I think that's why it goes on so smooth and is not greasy either. I based my recipe on Say Not Sweet Anne's homemade face moisturizer.

This is a really simple process. You melt the oils together and then whip them with the aloe vera gel. That's it basically. You have to finesse it a little, though, because you are mixing oil and water together which doesn't mix. :)

 ALL NATURAL FACE MOISTURIZER

1/2 c. aloe vera gel (it has to be the gel - not aloe vera juice)
2 TBSP. coconut oil
2 TBSP. almond oil
1 1/2 TBSP beeswax (I used the beeswax granules which melted nicely)
I don't like scented anything but if you like you can add a few drops of any essential oil

Melt the coconut oil and beeswax in the almond oil in a double boiler. I poured this into a small bowl and let it get cool. Add the aloe vera gel) and beat for about 5 to 6 minutes on high. If you have a small blender that would be even better but since this was such a small batch, it wasn't enough to put into the blender.

It will get nice and frothy and creamy.

This is a small recipe which makes about 1 cup of moisturizing cream. It should keep for at least a few months if kept in a cool place. Since it is such a small batch you may be needing to make it more often.

(If you know you are allergic to any of these ingredients, PLEASE don't make and use this recipe.)

If you liked this you might like my  honey lip scrub  also. It's yummy. :)
