Valentine Cards for Mom, Sister, and Daughters

Sewing on Valentine Cards is FUN!
I made these 7” Valentine Cards last year and had to share them again with you all. I saw these at Target and LOVED THEM and that means I had to make them, of course. I had fun making these from heavy watercolor paper. You can see that I sewed on them also. I love sewing on paper.
This was for my Mom. She’s a jewel.

Pretty hearts
The inside says, “On Sweetbrier Rd.” (my daughter’s family)

This was for my sister in Pennsylvania (the other succulent sister).

This was to Hubs.

I gave a brief tutorial on how I made them HERE.
The other thing I thought might be fun is to BUY some Valentine cards and do some sewing on them...like sew small felt hearts on the inside or outside. Did I mention I love sewing on paper?

Hope everyone liked looking at my homemade Valentine’s. (I have some gift ideas for Valentine’s this year, too.... coming soon....) Is that a tease, or what?
Happy Heart Time

  11. I love those, they are suitable for many occasions. Does it really blunt the needle sewing on paper?
