This summer he told me about a “sauce” that he loves and that he eats in Utah
when he’s with his mother and grandmother.
Xavier said, “Mimi, you will love fry sauce”.
I said, “Ok, make some for me.”
And he did.
Here is the recipe, Xavier’s recipe.
RECIPE: You take equal parts of ketchup and mayonnaise and stir them together.
1/4 cup mayonnaise and 1/4 cup ketchup would make a half cup of fry sauce.
Then you dip your french fries in it. YUMMY!!!
You can also put it on hamburgers which sounds even MORE YUMMY!!

MYSTIC SEA AQUARIUM
CONNECTICUT
We all went (kids, grandkids) on Saturday. Thought I’d share some of these photos. Mystic is a great place to go for adults or kids. Here we are. I’m all the way on the left. Didn’t the kids pose nicely? Joey, my grandson, the boy in the blue shirt, set that pose up. Didn’t he do a good job?
I can’t believe all the kids (and adults – me especially) came out great. My eyes are usually closed. One time when I went for my driver’s license, they had to retake my picture 17 times, because I kept closing my eyes. The girl said she had to get a photo with my eyes open. Groan! They had to be open but they kept closing. The fact that there was a CROWD of people around – they were waiting to have THEIR picture taken, too, and wanted to get the heck out of there. ..didn’t help the nervousness levels. She tried taking a picture without a flash and then she tried tricking me. Finally, she got a picture with my eyes open. By then I was a sweat ball.
When we first went in to Mystic there is a photographer who takes your picture in a group against a green screen. We went to look at the pics later and they were ROTTEN and expensive so we decided to set up our OWN PICTURE and ask someone to take the picture of us. It worked and it came out great. See below…
Some things we saw. I always spend a lot of time at the sea ray pool, trying to pet the sea rays. They’re kinda slimy.
They had an exhibit with parakeets – then they give each person a popsicle stick with birdseed glued on the end, the idea being the bird gets on the stick to eat the food. It’s kinda fun. However, by the time we got there the birds were full and were at the top of the cage, wanting nothing to do with us. The boys managed to get a few birds on their sticks. There’s Xavier, again, on the right, the one with the fry sauce recipe featured today.
