Most crafters have some pretty scrapbooking cardstock paper hanging around and that makes the cover of these journals.
I did a tutorial on this at one time. There’s nothing to it. You take pretty cardstock 81/2 inch x 11 inch paper and fold it in half. Then I take about 5 or 6 sheets of regular printer paper and fold them in half. Tuck them into the pretty folded paper. Open them up and stitch them down the middle on the sewing machine. That’s it. Of course, you could decorate the front and hang beads and such but I give them to the grandkids to write and draw in so I don’t want to spend too much time on them.
See the stitching? it’s really fast and easy. When I make these I watch TV and just put lots of them together on the floor. Then I stack them up and sew them up at a later time.
I did decorate some for the blog. Here they are…
I sewed on some lace for Valentine’s Day.
I like this one with kisses. Love the paper..
Best wishes.
