Woman’s Day magazine had some cute things in this week’s magazine. One of them was a cute egg cup holder with cup cake papers scrunched inside. Well, a picture is worth a thousand words. Here is what we came up with – my granddaughter and I….she’s off school this week so we can do some crafts together. What fun!!
I had some pretty cupcake papers…
And we turned one inside out and put one inside of the other so that it looked like one cupcake paper with a right side on the inside as well as the outside.
We taped the papers together so they wouldn’t come apart. Then we put a piece of scotchtape on the inside of the egg cup so that the pretty paper wouldn’t move around.
We pushed the papers into the egg cup… and added jelly beans..
And one of these cute paper butterflies.
That I punched out from scrapbooking paper…this is a Martha Stewart paper punch… It’s called the “large” butterfly. NOT! It’s tiny – but I still like it because it’s so cute!
It’s a nice little addition to the jelly bean eggcup to have a pretty little paper punch butterfly sitting on the edge of the papers, don’t you think?
We were really proud of our creations today for the Easter table.
Best wishes for a happy Easter season.
