EASTER
On the way to my brother's house, we went by the high school and the VOAG farm had new baby lambs so, of course, I had to pull the car over and my granddaughter and I jumped out (left my Mom in the car) and took some pictures of the new lambs. What a fortuitous thing to see baby lambs on Easter morning!!
I made Mom an Easter basket with little Pillsbury cookbooks, some flavored, sweetened coffee which she loves for breakfast, a tiny, china baby shoe (from the Christmas Tree Shop) and a gold chocolate bunny.
Mommy on Easter afternoon.

Your mother looks amazing. God Bless her. We celebrated Easter with my dh mother and father. She is 88 and he will be 90 in July. Praise the Lord for one more Easter celebration with them.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day.
OK, so I asked my husband, "How old do you think this woman is?" He guessed higher than he really wanted to because after all...I was asking...He guessed 79. What is the secret....from the look on her face, I think it must be a spoonful of happiness in the morning and a cup of positive attitude for lunch, dinner...a plate full of gratefulness. Am I right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful site you sisters have. It looks like you had a joyous Easter. I enjoyed visiting your Etsy shop and marked it in my favorites so I wouldn't lose it.
