Fairfield Garden Show - Fabulous!

What a great show...the Fairfield Garden Show in Connecticut. I bought some hypertufa's - those are pots handmade from cement, perlite, and peat moss. I Love 'em. The one with the daffodils is yours, Carol. I called Carol from the fair and asked if she wanted me to get her a hypertufa. So I picked this one out for her. I didn't get the one with the dragonfly on it because this one was all planted. If this girl goes to the Stamford fair next week, I'll take a trip down, if you still want the dragonfly.

I bought one for Mom for her 100th birthday gift... a large hypertufa container on a birdbath kind of stand filled with spring flowers. Also there is a solar light in a glass ball in Mom's. Here is a picture of Mom on her sunporch with the hypertufa. It's for her birthday but I wanted her to have it and enjoy it now.

Then I put my camera on the brick walk and took a picture of Kasha's nose and paws. I thought that was a cool picture.

Then I had some little crocus coming up that I thought would be a nice addition to the blog especially after we had such a cold, snowy winter. Spring is so welcome here in Connecticut.

And, finally, there is the twig chair I made for my nephew and his wife. The Christmas Tree Shops had all the bird nests with eggs and all kinds of spring eggy, birdy type things that we needed to decorate our twiggy chairs.

There is another booth I visited today but I will wait to post that tomorrow. Wow. What a weekend!

My daughter had a violin recital for her students so that was yesterday afternoon and I had to help set up the refreshments. It was a very deja vu experience because Kristy herself played all the violin pieces that her students played yesterday. It was very cute to see the little kids playing violin.
