Since she is celebrating her 100th birthday this
coming June we are crafting a journal of her life.
She is an amazing woman..
stillrunning her own house, cooking,
cleaning, sewing beautiful pillows
and even writing her own checks..
She even washed the windows
on the outside of the house last fall.
Much of the time we spent together the past 4 days was on her journal.It's hard work sorting out 100 years and including just the right information and pictures. Here is a picture of the mess we were into this weekend.
We managed to get some sewing done though.
Here is a picture of our niece with her apron that she made. She was with us this weekend also. Mom was with us, too, but she didn't make an apron. She worked on the journal giving us information - and there's a lot of it!

ReplyDeleteWOW! 100 years and still going strong! Your mother sounds like an incredible woman, it's good the hear she still keeps busy. If she lived in the UK she'd be getting a birthday card from the queen!

Omigosh! Linda, your Mom is gorgeous. At 99 she looks 25 years younger and her eyes are bright and lovely. I want to be just like her. What is her secret? I'll be she's a positive cherry person!
