Our 99 year old mother had colon cancer (she had surgery & all is well, Praise the Lord)... in the meantime while she was going through it all... Carol's daughter, Lori, gave her a "prayer cloth" (a dish towel that everyone in her church had prayed over..) Mom wanted to wear it all the time so she sewed a ribbon to the cloth and wore it like an apron.... After a time she started using it to wipe her hands while she was cooking, etc. and noticed that she was using fewer paper towels. Hence she came up with the idea of "Go Green Aprons". Go Green by saving paper towels!! Now everyone in the family has one and loves it.
Here is Richard, Linda's husband wearing one.

So Mom said to me, "Why don't we get some towels and make aprons like this? You could sell them." So that's what I did. I cut a towel in half and made ties from a coordinating fabric or you could use a ribbon. I take a few tucks on either side of the towel before adding the ties to it. It takes about 10 minutes from start to finish. Anybody needs help or tutorial, let me know. Linda
