My Sister’s Pretty Flower Pictures

My sister, Carol, has been on a new jag the past few months and I’m happy to show what she has been up to!

She is making these little flower pictures...

button on glass

First she ironed Wonder Under onto many different fabrics and then she cut out lots of different circle sizes.  These circles of fabric already have Wonder Under on the back of them and are ready to place on cardstock (or fabric) and iron them down.

She has strips of green all made up and ready to be sewn down.

Here Carol is sewing around the edge of the flower with a decorative machine stitch.

This is what the back of the card looks like. It’s pretty cute all on its own.

This is one of the cute little cards she makes...

We put one of the little flower cards inside this glass frame but it didn’t fit right because of the button. To fix that we pulled the button off the fabric and....

glued it onto the glass of the frame. PERFECT!!

Here’s a pretty pillowcase Carol made for the porch twin beds (where I sleep when I go to visit).
