Staying Calm and Fun Things to Do During Our New Normal of Quarantine

Since a good portion of our country is in lock down I thought a post about things to do while at home would be welcome. One of the features this week is on staying calm, staying focused. I needed this also. I need to remind myself that this, too, will pass. This pandemic will pass. One of the doctors I was listening to said that this Covid-19 will be no more than a cold five years from now. Evidently it gets weaker as time goes by. This is good news but we're in the midst of it right now.

What can I do?

I can keep calm. I live with - my husband, 2 adult children and a nine year old grandson. Yup, it's busy here but I love it. Since we are all here all the time now, it would be easy to get picky.  How is that going to help anything? So I TRY to overlook things I don't like. It's a small thing I can do. I'm working on it anyway. :)

One wonderful post by Barbara of Mantel and Table deals with the anxiety of the pandemic, the staying home, the fear, the tension with creative action steps. God's Growing Garden Blog also has tips for staying calm with Scripture to inspire us. Have some virtual tours of different areas of the world. Have a pretend trip to the beach. There are 2 posts on how to make a face mask. Several other posts are on things to do while we're all at home.

God Bless Us, Everyone!
