Incredibly Delicious French Toast Dessert

Incredibly Delicious French Toast Dessert

Do you like French Toast? I remember my aunt making the most delicious French toast for breakfast when I stayed with her. But I thought, why does it have to be for breakfast? It's sweet, it's yummy, and it's a perfect dessert with nutritional benefits, too, especially when served with fruit.

Want to make an easy luscious dessert? Use French toast.

I thought this would look (and taste) better if made from French bread so that's what I used to make the French toast.

French bread and French toast, yummy.

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

1 small loaf of French bread
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon sugar or honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Small amount of butter/oil for cooking the French toast in

Directions:

Slice the French bread into thick slices of 1 inch or more. Place eggs, milk, sugar/honey and cinnamon in a bowl. Whip mixture. Add some butter to a medium skillet. Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture and cook on each side until cooked.

Assemble the French toast on a plate and add a dollop of cream, some raspberries or strawberries and perhaps some ice cream :). Cover all with a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

How to make a yummy dessert with French toast.

This is nice, people. Really nice. Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Hope you are having a great week, everyone. Be well.
