Breakfast Grilled Cheese Waffle with Jam

Breakfast Grilled Cheese Waffles with Jam

Okay, I used Eggos because it's quicker and everyone loves Eggos in our house.

If you are one of those people who have not been introduced to sweet and savory, this is going to be a really big treat for you.

My husband is very traditional and I wasn't sure how he was going to receive this so I didn't really say what was in it. I just said it was breakfast. So he started eating it and about half way through I asked him, "how do you like it?".

He said, "Yea, it was good."

Like that is his highest praise. He's never going to say it's terrific or scrumptious.

I say, "It's scrumptious. It's terrific. It's yummy.

If you know how to make a  grilled cheese sandwich, then you know how to make THIS grilled cheese sandwich using an Eggo or waffle for the bread.

Grilled cheese sandwich with Eggos and Strawberry jam

Butter one side of each waffle. Put one waffle butter side down on the frying pan, add about 3 slices of cheese, and put the next waffle butter side up on the first waffle.

Grill on both sides until the cheese melts.

Open up the sandwich and put in some strawberry jam.

This is amazing!!

Hope you love it.

  2. I have seen many coffee filter wreaths that look very simple to make that are actually very difficult. This one appears to be somewhat easy and has a very cute outcome too. Thanks for sharing.
