Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

My niece was visiting one day and told me about this easy treat.

My first thought was that it would be too sweet.

NOT!

This is such a fun, easy treat!

One of these treats is rich and is perfect to satisfy and it's made in a cupcake tin with cupcake papers so it's easy to make, easy to clean up, too.

RECIPE for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Your favorite brownie recipe (mine is a box mix - whatever is on sale) :)
Refrigerated Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (snack size)

Cut the Pillsbury Cookie Dough into 1/4 inch slices and place in the bottom of the cupcake paper.
Place the peanut butter cup UPSIDE DOWN on top of the cookie dough slice.
After making the brownie batter, place a few spoonfuls on top of the peanut butter cup, covering it completely.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until done.

The hardest part of making these? Keeping the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in the house before I had a chance to make them.... my husband, my son, and my granddaughter would come along and the first thing I'd know - the bag of peanut butter cups was EMPTY. So, I'd buy another bag and it would be emptied also. Finally, I was smart enough to hide them. Then I burnt the first batch of the brownies, bought another bag of peanut butter cups, and burnt the second batch also.  My niece kept telling me how awesome they were so I was determined I was going to make them..

I thought I'd never get these made.

Best wishes,

These Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes were a lot easier to make. :)
