Cute Advent Calendar Using Little White Envelopes

My daughter made an Advent Calendar made using small white envelopes. I love it.

We were thinking about how we could make a really cute Advent calendar for Faith, her daughter who is 11. How could we make a cute Advent Calendar but rather quickly since it was just a few days ago and December 1st is the day after tomorrow.

We thought of all kinds of ways to make a little container for the treats and messages... Then we saw these really cute small, 2 1/2 x 4 inch envelopes in Michael's Craft Store. These could serve as the basis of the numbers and whatever embellishments we put on each one.

Some ribbons ..

blue stripes and dots ribbon

We had stickers and all kinds of stuff all over the place but were able to finish these in a few hours...

Little envelopes with decorations

I took pictures of all of them individually also. I think they came out great.

Laura hand drew the little reindeer...

These were stickers I had in my craft stash...

dove and cherries goodness

holly wreath, small tileboard

'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house, not a creature was stirring... not even a mouse.

And finally, Christmas Day !!!  The reason for the season...

Merry Christmas Season..
