Connecticut Garden Show in Hartford

Michele, my niece and I went to the Garden Show in Connecticut today
Here are some things that Michele and I found inspiring.
These are large floral metal sculptures by Karen Rossi.

The center of this flower says “Je taime” which means I love you in French.

See how huge they are?

I kept thinking to myself, ‘how can I make something like this?’. This almost looks like the blades on an old fan, doesn’t it? I think I should look for old fans at tag sales to see if I can make them into huge flowers like this...

A HUGE daisy..

And there was this very cool chair....

My nephew, Mike, will be able to do this...

I ended up buying some succulent plants.  I’m getting very obsessed interested in succulent plants lately AND they are very IN. You see them everywhere. I have a nice little quickly growing collection  now.
Have a great Sunday.

I love all these shares. Those home and garden shows are fun to attend. We are in the middle of what they are calling a possible blizzard so dreaming about Spring is my favorite thing! Thanks for sharing with us today!

  3. Love the flowers. Will be looking at scrap tin differently, love the gorgeous colors. That would be something good to get my hubs into. He's a pretty good crafter himself.
Was that show indoors or are you having an early Spring there? We had snow yesterday all day but Denver really got it, about a foot. We're on other side of mountains, it's called the Western slope, we live west of Grand Junction, CO.
