Five Jars of Chocolate

Gift Jars of Chocolate
..   as part of the Twelve Days of Christmas here on my blog.
Did you know (I didn’t) that the tradition of the Twelve Days of Christmas starts on Christmas Day as the FIRST DAY of Christmas, the day after Christmas is the SECOND DAY of Christmas and so on until the 12th Day of Christmas, January 6th, which is the celebration of The Epiphany. According to tradition it took the Magi 12 days to travel following the star to the stable in Bethlehem where it was revealed that Christ was the Savior of the world... hence Epiphany meaning the revelation.
How is that relevant? Well, I started the Twelve Days of Christmas working through December but that is actually WRONG. It STARTS at Christmas Day and continues through January 6th. It’s not really supposed to be BEFORE December 25th. It STARTS on December 25th.
Bottom line? I can put on all the posts I have prepared for the 12 Days of Christmas until January 6th. Right? I hope so. I have 4 edible arrangements for tomorrow.
Santa Chocolate
These jars came from one of the outlets in Pennsylvania. Of course, I had to buy a lot of them. I’ve used some for other things and these 5 were all that was left.   Here is what I did with them. I put a bow around the top and filled them with candy!! Easy and nice. It looks good on a table but is also a nice gifty item, perhaps a hostess gift.

  1. I didn't know about the 12 Days of Christmas, so that was interested to find out. You could make homemade bath salt which would look good in the jars!
