Summer Fun–Let’s Go Pollywoggin’ and Blog Angels

Hi, Everyone and Welcome!!

I belong to a group of "blog angels" started by Craftbotic. You are given a blog to be a blog angel to but I don't know who MY blog angel is. It's all about helping a blogger without letting them know. I still don't know. Maybe you would like to join blog angels next time around? I can hardly wait to find out who MY blog angel is! It's been fun!

Now on to SUMMER FUN!!! We have a little pond in the front of our house. My nephew, Michael, built it, dug it out, put in a rubber liner, and lined it with stones. That was about 10-12 years ago.  Right now there is a beautiful pink water lily bloom in the pond, and some duck weed and water hyacinths. Anyway, through the years my grandkids have had so much fun, in fact all the kids in the family have had their fun with fish nets trying to catch goldfish or frogs.  When they catch them they are put in pails for a day and then put right back in the pond, none the worse for wear!
Every year we go and get some new pollywogs and frogs to put in the pond. Over the weekend we went pollywogging at a local park for pollywogs. Here are some pics of the kids with their nets. And pictures of the “catch” also.

The kids were here for a few hours.  It was a pleasant day and cost NOTHING and is part of our SUMMER FUN

SUMMER FUN LINK: East Coast Mommy has a super list for summer activities (I’m going to go through it again with a fine tooth comb. I’m always looking for fun things to do in the summer.)

Summer Food Fun:  Ice cream mini-bites by This Chic Cooks. Hopefully I'll make a variation of this soon. YUMMY...
