New Blog Header and Update

We have a new blog header thanks to Jamie at The Letter 4. I love the way the blog looks now. We have social media buttons and also a “grab-it” button for anyone who wants to put our buttons on their blog (I hope a lot of bloggers will want to)!
Thank you, Jamie. Both Carol and I are thrilled with the way it turned out. It’s a pleasure to go to our blog now and see how pretty it is.
Anyone who wants to update their blog, head over to The Letter 4! Jamie is quick and good and has reasonable prices! Cool.
I went rummaging in my closet and look what I found?! Actually, I was cleaning out a closet in my bedroom. Since I have a Cape Cod house we have closets which I call “eaves” closets. They are low and store a lot of stuff. So look what I found?!
I love this. I remember buying this at a tag sale a few years ago and I never did anything with it. It was such a nice surprise to find it again. Yay!

So this time I decided to do something with it. I put 2 nails in the window and hung it from there since it needs to have light shining through it to be pretty.

You can see the pond through the window. It’s badly in need of a new liner, but the frogs like it. We hear them croaking and chirping all night long.

Remember that wreath with the Cat’s Meow houses on it? Well, that was a drop in the bucket to how many of them I have. Here are some of them on the tops of windows. The windows face the front of the house so you can see the little houses from the street. The houses are double sided so it works. Yay.

Bought this one at a local craft fair in Connecticut. Hand painted. Love it.

We also have a guest post going on over at "My 1929 Charmer" so be sure to check that out. I did a tutorial on how to make a DIY wreath from a square frame.

Have a great week.

  1. So much wonderful crafty eye candy to look at. I think I would be happy to just roam around your house and take it all in. I LOVE the blocks on the wreath and around your house...love them to pieces!!!
