Easter Cards with Bunnies and Birds and Butterflies

I made some more large 7 inch cards for Easter and had a fair amount of fun doing so, too. Bunnies, birds, and butterflies are the theme for these cards. They are all about new life which is symbolic for Easter.
First I cut the luscious, thick watercolor paper like I did for the Valentine cards HERE. I showed how to cut the paper so that there was a large 7 inch front of the card but the inside was not as large but it didn’t matter.
Butterfly mornings
See where the back of the card is smaller than the front and it’s fine.

Here’s the front.
Butterfly afternoons
and here’s the back. Plenty of room to write whatever is desired. I printed out the words and then pasted them in.
I didn’t do any sewing on these. I got lazy. I think they still look good. They get the idea across, right?
Sisal nest
A bit of green sisal from Joann Fabrics left over from the green Spring wreath.
Tiny Bird Nest
Now it’s a tiny nest.
Tiny nest eggs
I cut out a bird shape from decorative paper and added a Happy Easter greeting printed out from the computer onto cardstock. I glued the little candies in the nest and glued everything onto the paper with Fabri-Tac. Great glue for everything.

Bunny card. Remember the dog that everyone thought was a bunny? Well, I made it into a bunny.

By the way, you have word verification on {sometimes bloggers don't realize it}. If you need help knowing how to turn it off, I have a post that explains it here: http://igottacreate.blogspot.com/2011/12/bloggy-tips-101.html
