Carol’s Fantabulous Bathroom (I mean it!!)

Some years ago Carol completely remodeled her bathroom. She pushed the roof up and made a vaulted ceiling so it looks bigger even though the size of the bathroom hadn’t changed. Okay, here are the pictures.

There is a beautiful mural of the outside of a cottage painted above the toilet.  This is so incredibly beautiful. It doesn’t overtake the bathroom either. It’s just gorgeous.

Here is another view. There’s an oval window above the shower. 187aacc

We made these little flower pictures. Oh, were they fun. You have to do this in the summer when there are lots of flowers blooming. You paint a little face and then add parts of flowers, stems, etc.to make the arms, legs, hair, hats, etc. for your little “painting”. Then when you have it the way you like it, you take a picture of it, print it out, and frame it. Here are a few. Maybe I’ll do a tutorial on it in the summer. :)

Originally we saw these in a Mary Engelbreit magazine and thought we’d try our hand at it. Everyone who came to Carol’s that day made one of these little flower pictures.
Have a great weekend, everyone.

  8. Wow! What an incredible bathroom. It puts my 1970's brown bathroom with brown suite to shame. I especially love the bunnies!
