Julia’s Menagerie

A young (13) family member crocheted these cute cute animals. She also made herself a large tote bag. Good work, Julia!!

I’ve been turning old records into bowls. This past summer I bought old records at tag sales with the idea of turning records into bowls. I saw a record bowl turned into a pocketbook so that is the ultimate goal here. Eventually. There are several youtube video tutorials on how to turn a record into a bowl. Check it out here.

Here is one of the records I turned into a bowl. These bowls can’t be used for food due to a release of some kind of toxin(shudder), but as a pocketbook I think it would be great.

Best wishes, all. Linda

  2. Hi Linda,
I came here after reading your love story over at Katie's place.

First congratulations to you and your handsome groom. I'm so glad he came home to you after that brutal war.

Now, about the record bowls, I LOVE that look. We have a loft decorated in Retro Nostalgia. I'm gonna need one of those for the guitar picks!
