Mom's house

I thought I'd post some pictures of Mom's house. She is such a decorator! Does this look like the house of a 100 year old woman? I'll show her later what I did on the blog. She's so interested in everything.

And she wanted me to take a picture of her new kitchen, too, so here it is. Over to the right on the counter Mom has a little journal which she writes in everyday. She has kept a journal for the last 45 years, I think. I'll have to check on that number but what the heck... what's the difference if it's 40 or 50 years of journaling?? hahahha

She also has done the newspaper crossword puzzles since the 1930's. She says she remembers when the crossword first appeared in the newspaper in Massachusetts where she lived. Everyday after that she said she couldn't wait to get the paper to do the crossword puzzle. People, take note here....

I used to take her mother (who lived to be 101) to the doctor and the doctor would question her about her eating habits, etc. and then say to the attending nurse, "Take notes."

Have a great day, everyone!!
